Dill Pickle Pasta Salad

Pasta Salad Ingredients

My favourite ingredients in this pasta salad are: dill pickles, marble cheddar, and sour cream. I also love the use of finely chopped red onion to give it a kick. You can definitely use fresh dill for this salad and dried dill is just as great. I like using dried dill as it seems to keep better in a salad in the fridge and does not over-infuse the salad over time as would fresh dill.

Cayenne Powder

It may not seem like it would make sense to add cayenne powder but it goes incredible with the other ingredients for this salad. It almost balances out the dill by adding back some cayenne pepper heat. Just a touch is all you need, 1/8 tsp to be exact!
